Acoustic‐Modulated, Selective Particle Deposition for Muti‐Material Additive Manufacturing

Powder-based additive manufacturing (AM) is an important technology in fabricating complex 3D products. In powder-based AM, a powder deposition system plays key role determining the resolution, density, and properties of printed parts. An acoustic-actuated particle approach, which utilizes acoustic waves to actuate glass nozzle, enables particles cost-effective way. However, capability programmably deposit different using has yet be fully demonstrated. Herein, selective approach via modulation for muti-material AM Sequential parallel depositions two types by modulating signal inputs resonant frequencies piezo transducers are process demonstrated integrating this with heat-curing mechanism. Several products from produced as well. It expected that can used wide spectrum applications, such direct multi-functional materials/devices.
